Just announced over the last few days that pricing will fall in the $40,000 range over in japan. But for us here in the states a little different story unfolds. Rumors are to the tune of $32,780 but the car is eligible for a $7,500 federal tax credit for electric vehicles. (the max) SO that would bring your actual cost right around $25k! And I also here that you will be able to start reserving your Nissan Leaf as soon as April 20th. (check back on that for actual date) but in select cities. Man do I hope that boston, worcester, and springfield are in there!
Well folks. That is my great news for the day. I hope you are all doing well and to hear back from you soon.

Welcome to TypePad! This is a sample post you can edit or delete later.
Now the words out and many people out there are speaking up. Now as much excitement as I am hearing there is also much worry. I think a lot of the worry comes from the un-known. Now I for one am very excited and cant wait for this car to hit our lots. Just in general. We are going to travel the road less traveled. A rechargeable car?!?! Now I think this is the main point of concern. Yes it will travel 100 miles on a charge. But then what? What if I run the A/C heat or move the windows up and down... Dos that shorten the range. Where do I even charge this car? There is a simple solution to these questions thou.. You plug it in. :) Now you are wondering where... It will plug into the same plug anything else you normally use will. a 110 outlet. Now this will be the most time consuming but easiest way to charge your Leaf. It would take roughly 16 hours to reach full charge. But in an emergency situation you can plug in charge up and be on your way. They will also plug into 220 outlets. This will fully charge you in about 8 hours. (I see this as most likely being the norm on launch) Some of us have seen this outlet for our fridge or in our garage for welders and different items. Your furnace will also be 220 in most cases. Now there will also be a rapid charging system available for this car. Here is the great part. ALL manufacturers have agreed to use the same plug for this system. This has the capability of charging the leaf to 80% in about a half hour. Reason that this is such a huge part of all this is that when communities or town/cities, even states get on with this program we all win. I know our home state of Massachusetts is pushing hard for these cars to come out and has plans for charging stations. Nissan its self is looking into many different things. I have heard rumors of swappable battery stations. But I don't know how accurate or easy this will be.. But can you imagine instead of filling up your gas tank you swap out your battery.. How cool!
I just cant wait for this car and all the options it will bring with it. I will have more on this later but if you have any questions please feel free to ask. I might not know the answer but I will find out for you.

Hello and Greetings from Bertera Nissan!
So I am finally getting some spots in my page rankings for some of my blogs.. PHEW! I really am interested in seeing how this all plays out. On I am trying hardest at is my www.berteranissanblog.blogspot.com and have also joined Blogcatalog. Now my findings are beyond what I would consider weird.. When I work on one blog.. It improves the ratings on another.. And this has been the norm since I started all this months ago. I still need to keep up writing and updating them all but when I do one it helps another... Why? Well there is the fun part. No I am by no means an expert and will never claim to be. But I do think I have caught on a bit. You see the method to this madness (along with so many other things) is inbound links. These are the cream of the crop. Now we all (or most of us) know that content is key. And it is. But a inbound link with this seem to be the power. Because if you have outbound links they do not nessasaraly help your page.. They help the other one. So as I sit here writing away the content does help this page but outbound links seem to help the other pages. Because I am pointing potential visitors in there direction. Now there is an even better one. Actual visitors.. That helps HUGE! The more people that come by with enough inbound links and google might actualy start crawling your page. Thats to say there is info on your page it finds relivant. For me this is a wee bit of a breakthrough.. haha. You may ask why.. I am a car guy. I know what an engine is. Right? Well not this one.. A search engine? huh.. Yea thats where I was. But I am determined to figure this out. I am also on to some more projects as our website (new) from TK Carsites will be up and running in the next few days. I am really excited and nervous at the same time. I have never had full access to a website as this is. Well on some of the pages. I will be sure to show you what I am up to from time to time. To start I am going to get some artwork from our designers but I want to learn the html and see if I can do some coding as well. Hey.. Why not. I love to learn new things and this is right up my alley. I have already dove both feet into this bloggin and social thing-a-ma-giggy. :)
Now I will explain just a bit what I was speaking of. I google Bertera Nissan and my blog that I have not been working on www.berteranissan.com is ranked way higher than the one I am working on. And as I continued to work on the others this one kept rising. Now as I start to work on my others they might move a little but I notice major improvents on the ones I was working on before and am not now.. It all breaks down to sales. You build it and then you must promote it. Funny how simple it all breaks out to be. Just might not be as easy to pull off. haha!
Well thats all for today.
Wishing you well as always.
